https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/queensryches-todd-la-torre-is-putting-finishing-touches-on-debut-solo-album/

sounds like his solo album is almost done, and will see a 2020 release date, I look forward to it!

Very cool news. Can't wait to hear that album, very anxious to hear what all different directions he goes with vocally on this release. I expect it to be mostly on the heavier side.

I've been looking very forward to say the least for this release, but I hope he doesn't go too heavy. I'd like something in the vein of the Queensryche material or in tune with his live Crimson Glory performances. I don't necessarily want a thrash album full of cookie monster growling  C:-)

Apparently someone posted a screenshot of a Tweet from La Torre's private account on Blabbermouth.

"If you are someone not wearing a mask, you are part of the problem. 125k DEAD, 2.5 MILLION cases and rising. This selfishness couldn't be more evident.

"You want to get back to work? You want to go out and socialize someday? Put your fucking mask on!!!"

Well said Todd. It'll be interesting to see the commentary that's sure to follow.  8)

I can certainly appreciate where Todd's coming from. His livelihood depends on performing for people, and he can't do that if things don't get better. And doctors are saying you need to wear masks to flatten the curve. Seems pretty simple to me. I don't wear a mask all the time, but certainly whenever I go out to a store (which even that is pretty rare these days). Things seem far worse in America than in Canada, that's for sure.

It's good that Todd is speaking out about it though, even if it costs the band fans. Or whatever.

Glad to hear the album sounds awesome (though really, would Todd say it sucks? Hahaha). Here's hoping we get it by the end of the year.

Roush,
What's the latest on the release date info for the debut solo album from Todd? Have you seen or heard any updates? Any pre order info?

I don't have any updates.   I know it was mentioned for a Nov. release,  but since we don't have any pre-order info yet, my guess is details are still being finalized.  I sure hope it's by year-end or January at the latest.  I'm getting impatient.   Lol.

I can't wait to hear this release. I don't know if you'll like it as much Roush, I think it may be a little heavier than your tastes, but we shall see.

I think this release is definitive going to have some heavier tunes, but I think you'll also have some "lighter" stuff, for lack of a better description.   In other words, something for everyone.   ;)

I like both, so that is what I'm hoping for, a nice mix. Kind of like how the last three Queensryche albums have been balanced. I'm cool with the heavy tracks being a bit heavier on his album but I still want some of the more melodic stuff mixed in as well. Hope he gets it released by years end.

Everybody is working on new material now and many bands are releasing new music or are well on their way to doing so, hopefully Queensryche will follow suit and have the next album out in 2021  8)

I'm curious what kind of album deal Queensryche got with Century Media. I wonder if they got a regular 3-album deal and now they have to get a new one. Maybe they'd go with Rat Pack Records like Todd?

I believe they still have 1 or 2 albums for Century Media.  After the first (or was it second) album, they got a multi record deal from CM.  I'll try to find the details.

That would be cool if they have an album (or preferably two) for Century Media to go under contract.

Any new news on Todd's album release or preorder Roush?
