Good interview podcast with Michael Wilton from Australia's Rabid Noise

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/michael-wilton-wouldnt-re-record-any-queensryche-classics-with-new-singer/

I absolutely agree with Wilton 100%! Re-recording the original lineup's material would simply be another shitstain on Queensryche's legacy. No need to mess with greatness!

Man, I'm really tired of hearing the guys talk about how things have changed so much in the music industry. And maybe it more has to do with what questions the interviewers are throwing at them, but goddamn they sound like dinosaurs. When Whip talks about his daughter saying he needs to go on Facebook or Instagram to post more, or when the guys talk about album sales vs. touring in order for the band to make a living...ugh. Even though this is the world we're living in, doesn't everyone know this already? I'd love to not hear "well things are so different in the industry now from what they were 30 years ago" or something similar.
That Man/Machine Imperfection guy didn't post too much, but he was pretty much always right.

Ya hear all that from every band, but it's the assholes interviewing them that usually bring it up in some form of questioning or comment that gets them started. I'm sure it's tough, it isn't like it used to be with the big record deal signings and major label promotional support and marketing. Most these guys are on their own, so to speak to create their own marketing, promotion and revenue. But yeah it gets old hearing it every time somebody speaks. It's been that way for some while now, everybody is aware of it already.
