Did the diamonds in the rough thread for some other categories, may as well start one here too for artists that may not get their own thread but had some noteworthy or cool songs.

Those last two were good. Have to go check out some of both their solo works. Snowy White is good on the Roger Water's live stuff I've seen with him. Alvin I hadn't heard anything of his since he left The Chipmunks  :-\ .... I mean Ten Years After  :D

Here is a couple from The Robert Cray Band, Robert Cray has released some twenty three albums since 1980. Has won five Grammy awards. He began playing live gigs with his Robert Cray band in the late seventies on the west coast of the US. In 1978 in National Lampoon's Animal House, Robert Cray was the uncredited bass player in the house party band Otis Day and the Knights.

Robert Cray played with Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Vaughan and Stevie Ray Vaughan at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin on Monday, August 27, 1990 performing Sweet Home Chicago. Later that night Stevie Ray Vaughan would die in a helicopter crash leaving the area.
