For now I'm only doing the original lineup up until 1997. Once that collection starts to dry up, I'll move on.
As for the Todd era, it's hard to say. It's in the age where everyone and their mom can shoot a video with their phone during the gig, so I don't think there'd be any real reason to upload that stuff on my channel, since it's already on YouTube in quantity :D

There might be you tube footage all over the place, most of it crowd shot. There sure as hell aren't many dvd bootlegs out there of the Todd lineup. I've managed to hunt down only four I think.

The Buffalo '89 show is already on my channel, but the video could use some cleaning, and the audio isn't in the best shape either.

Video is coming along alright, but it's going to take some time.
As for the audio, while it's still from the same taper, I'll be using the audio from the bootleg Disease is Rampant, since that is a lower-gen copy than what's on the DVD. There are some other video-shows on the channel I could touch up, so don't be surprised if I ever re-upload stuff like the Auburn Hills, or the MTV Unplugged show  >:D

EDIT:
The re-touched show is now up  ;D

I uploaded the Headbangers Ball special with the release party for the album 'Promised Land'. About a 2 hour special, from which I cut out the advertisements and music videos - so it ended up being a 30 minute special  >:D

There's also the TV ad for the album itself, which I also uploaded by itself: https://youtu.be/Klr3DMH6idE

The Live in Paris special looks and sounds awesome, Setzer. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s with the top and bottom bars of the screen looking a bit lighter than the middle of the screen? It almost looks as though the video was prepped for a widescreen presentation but then the original top and bottom were recovered later after the “widescreen portion” had been cleaned up. Give me the boring technical answer, Setzer. I was an early VHS letterbox advocate and I LOVE this shit.

Concerning the content of the interview itself, man that interviewer is really trying to get at the real meat and potatoes of the personal dysfunction going on in the band at that time and the band sure is being cagey about it. Hahaha.

Also, NO LIMITS from Scott at 24:47. EVERYBODY DRINK!!  ;D

It's some stupid artistic decision some moron at MTV pulled off. I've seen other copies, and they have it too, so it must have been like that on broadcast.
I've tried to fix it myself, and I've had a friend have a go at it as well, but there's just nothing to be done.
It looks awful if you ask me. It's not a proper letterbox, as was done on the Most Wanted segment.

At least you're not stretching or zooming in a 4:3 video in order to fit Youtube's ratio. That just drives me bonkers.

I did crop out the letterboxing on the Most Wanted stuff because... Well because that's redundant in the modern age :P
But yeah, I hate when people crop 4:3 content to 16:9 (or worse), just because they think that's a good look. Or when people (even big studios) upload footage that is still interlaced :'(

The Headbangers Ball special is great. That 88 show is enjoyable despite the shaky camera work and probably is as good as your gonna get for that one.
