Demo Recordings (Original lineup)
« on: December 30, 2016, 02:24:38 PM »
I collected up a lot of the demo recordings from the classic era of the band, figured I'd lump them all in here in one place for everybody's listening pleasure. Some really cool stuff.

Man, some of those are really great. Nice to hear that Tate still gave a great performance in the quiet breakdown section in Child of Fire, even on the demo. Thanks for posting!

I still hope that one day we'll hear an early demo of Chris DeGarmo singing Silent Lucidity. You know it's gotta exist somewhere.
The problem is that you are correct.

Indeed, and btw: DeGarmo's vocal for Bridge can be heard during the Big Log documentary - https://youtu.be/cezGdwC7Q74?t=16m12s

That video isn't up anymore. :(

This video has a full performance from the band's 2005 tour where they played the Hostage demo over the PA system.

The demo for Hostage (recorded around the Tribe era) isn't as awesome as some would have you believe, but it's still too bad the band never released an official version of it.
