« on: October 13, 2014, 05:24:09 PM »
How about the BEST cover songs, if we're gonna do the worst, might as well do the best of too.

I like Molly Hatchets free bird for a live choice
Queensryche: bullet the blue sky (another live example)
Vanilla Fudge's remake of N'synch tearin up my heart kicks ass ,if you've never heard that look it up on you tube.
Gun's and Roses- Sympathy for the devil and Knockin on heaven's door
Metallica: creeping death
Champion of the Queensryche Board Wars :)

I've always liked Saigon Kick's take on David Bowie's "Space Oddity".

Just listen to This Is Your Life, the Ronnie James Dio tribute album for a bunch of examples.
Also, i LOVE the cover of Duran Duran's Come Undone that Adrenaline Mob did. It's probably my personal favorite cover.
I also love Rise Against's cover of The Ballad of Hollis Brown and their cover of The Ghost of Tom Joad.
What's becoming of me?

Red Barchetta is a cover?

it is if it's performed by someone other than Rush.  :P
Who's the more foolish - the fool, or the fool who follows him?

Geoff Tate seems to have a "vested" interest in being in Queensryche.
