AC/DC
« on: December 14, 2015, 01:36:08 PM »
AC/DC started a long time ago back in 73 and are still at it. They became one of those select bands that enjoyed major worldwide success with two different singers that have fronted the band (theirs however was not by design, because it was precipitated by the untimely death of Bon Scott) The Bon Scott era featured the classics High Voltage, Dirty Deeds, and Highway to Hell. The Brian Johnson fronted lineup took off with Back in Black and For Those About To Rock and had continued success with Fly On The Wall and Ballbreaker. Always a great live act to catch . I figured now is a good time to add them to the board as they announce their 2016 American Tour dates. They like a lot of these bands are aging and this material no doubt is getting tougher and tougher for Brian to keep screeching out live, and now with Malcolm's health issues forcing him to the sidelines, one has to wonder if this will be the last go round for this band as they're days are certainly probably numbered. Catch them live while you still can.

This would be interesting, even if just to fill out the rescheduled tour dates. I think this dude could pull it off more so than anybody else that comes to mind.

This should be interesting, I didn't post up any of the initial speculation, because I thought it was quite a stretch. Apparently it isn't so far fetched lol. This should be interesting to say the least.

The first of the tour dates with Axl filling in for Brian Johnson on vocals Saturday May 7 in Lisbon Portugal.

Sounds pretty good to me, AC/DC live has always just been a big Party. This certainly looks like JUST THAT, so it's alright in my book, and Axl's voice flows along nicely with these songs. I'm certain everybody's opinion will greatly differ, but that's my first impression.

Great set list too, Anybody that adamantly disagrees and happens to have 2 tickets to the rescheduled Philly show they wanna unload, I'm all ears??

This would be pretty interesting to hear, A new AC/DC album with Axl Rose  :-\
Would be cool if Phil Rudd returned if he has his shit together too.

I didn't get a chance to watch this yet, but here is the full final show Axl did with AC/DC back in 2016 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Having had several shows under his belt by this time, this should be a pretty good show.
