It's a hard audio to judge by, but to my ears sorry. don sounds like shit compared to what he used to, this is the show that they are going to release. I bet they'll try and doctor the shit out of that recording.

This is one way to make Don sound better, Let Jack Russell sing a verse and the crowd sing three others  :-\

Man, is that what Don Dokken sounds like these days? Ouch.

Jack Russell might look like Ben Kingsley in this video, but holy cow he kills this song.

I had no idea Don had had stomach cancer and underwent radiation therapy and then also had vocal cord surgery. Not sure of the exact timeline. He actually states in this interview that he "took some time off to have those things dealt with and that he had gained forty pounds and felt and sounded like shit".

He promises a return to classic sounding Dokken on the upcoming album they are working on, we'll see. Maybe his vocals have now improved some.

This sounds promising, the original Dokken lineup minus Don, teaming up with Warrant (ex Lynch Mob vocalist) Robert Mason on vocals.

This was pretty cool, Don and George playing a few songs together at Ultimate NAMM Night with Lizzy Borden band members Marten Anderson and Ira Black, that is until Don started singing anyway  :-\
