Cool, So how was the show Setzer? I had wanted to see him the last time he played Philly and didn't make it.
It was great! But considering it was a sort of homecoming show (First time headlining non-festival show in Denmark since 2006), it was way too short clocking only 80 minutes  :-\
Still, there are 3 different audio recordings on DIME, and the full show with pretty decent video on YouTube as well - and I bought a t-shirt >:D

Awesome Setzer, very cool! I'll get another shot, he just announced a North American fall tour leg. Tower Theatre Philly show, pretty good sized venue for him too. I hope it sells well.

New song "masquerade of madness" from the upcoming album The Institution. This sounds great, this album has some major potential. Love it!  8)

Love that new song and I read an article about the concept of the new album, it sounds pretty cool and KD says the story will be told over the course of two albums. Looking forward to hearing the whole album. The Philly show is tomorrow night, unfortunately I won't make it.  :( hope that show gets put up online cool theatre venue.

I'll check out that Georgia show later tonight  8)

Anyone gonna pick up the new reissues for king diamond and mercyful fate? It's not a remaster but coming from the original tapes, which is great news for these albums

doing just a re-release using the master tapes sounds too much like a quick cash grab attempt to me, any collector of his work no doubt already has the first few classics and the early merciful fate stuff. If he added a few unreleased demo's from those sessions and a few live tracks it would have made it appealing but I don't believe there is any bonus material added in on those. So I would pass. I have the original abigail, fatal portrait, don't break the oath and Melissa recordings.
