No, that was back in 2001 on the Deal With The Devil Tour. Alex was in the band. You saw them with me open for Yngwie at the old Birch Hill club in Old Bridge then I went down to the Baltimore show with Erik the following month and we met them and hung out on the tour bus with them. Those are the only two times I've managed to catch them live.

After Alex died they were on a hiatus for a while only playing a few sporadic live dates until they returned with the Appointment With Death album in 2007, the closest they came to here was playing up in North Jersey by New York at Dingbatz a couple times during those tour cycles. Then they reduced to pretty much only playing some sporadic west coast shows and festival dates outside the US I think. Until the new album came out this year, there was another several year period of inactivity.

Marten Andersson is not in the touring lineup for the My Midnight Things Tour, nor was he on the album. I looked into what he is up to and he is performing with the band Steelheart (since Lizzy Borden went on hiatus in 2016), and he also is performing with a project called From Classical To Rock, the later of which is classical players, and orchestra meshed with a group of rock performers.

They still have yet to do a proper tour for last years My Midnight Things album, which is a pretty solid album I think. They played the Rock Hard Festival in Germany last June, and then did a short 12 date North America run mid August into early September that included 3 Canada dates, followed by a one off Halloween show at the Whisky A GoGo in Hollywood and that has been it thus far other than that Monsters of Rock cruise. I keep checking for tour date info, Nothin yet  :-\ I really wanna see them again, it's been a while.
