Felt:
This was an underground band from Alabama, that released a self titled album in 1971. The band consisted of Myke Jackson and Stan Lee on guitars (Stan Lee later went on to play in the punk band The Dickies), bassist Tommy Gilstrap and drummer Mike Neel.

Here is a good tune from Robert Berry who part of the band "3" along with Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer. This is a song Last Ride Into The Sun that was initially to be included on that bands sophomore album that was never recorded. Here Robert Berry records it for his album Pilgrimage To A Point released in 1995 and out of print. I looked but couldn't see who else plays on this.

Here is another obscure early prog band, this one is Out Of Focus, a German band. This is their 1971 self titled release.

Quiet Sun, this was a Canterbury scene English band formed in 1970 by Phil Manzanera (guitars), Bill MacCormick (bass), Dave Jarrett (keyboards) and Charles Hayward (drums). The band split up in 1972 before releasing any of their material with Manzanera going to Roxy Music, MacCormick going to Matching Mole, and hayward to This Heat.

Manzanera regrouped the band in 1975 and they recorded their only studio release Mainstream, which sold well and was critically acclaimed and was later released on cd in 1997 on Manzanera's label Expression Records. The lineup on the record featured,
Phil Manzanera: guitars, piano
Dave Jarrett: piano, organ, VS3
Bill MacCormick: bass
Charles Hayward: drums, lead vocals, synthesizers
with
Brian Eno: synthesizer
Ian MacCormick: backing vocals
The album contained their previously composed material.

This shit is pretty good, some good jamming on this stuff.
