Here is another long forgotten band that released two albums in the early 70's DUST. This band featured Rick Wise (guitar and vocals), A young Kenny Aaronson on bass, and Marc Bell (later to be known as Marky Ramone in the Ramones) on drums. Wise and their manager/producer Kenny Kerner went on to produce Kiss's first two albums. Kenny Aaronson went on to play stints with, well just about everybody (including the Stories, Blue Oyster Cult, Rick Derringer, Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Mountain, Foghat, Hall & Oates, the New York Dolls, the Yardbirds) among others).

Their debut album Dust was released in 1971 followed by Hard Attack in 1972 before disbanding.

Here is another short lived band that made one record in 1971. The album has been re released under the titles Turns You On (2006), and Luv Machine (2007) on two different labels.

These guys consisted of Michael Bishop (guitar, vocals), Bob Bowman (guitar and vocals), Errol Bradshaw (drums, vocals), and Merlin Norville (bass). The band formed in England after relocating there from Barbados. Norville left the band early on due to being homesick and was replaced by England born John Jeavons. The band released that one lone album. Heavily influenced by Cream, Hendrix, and Vanilla fudge.

Here is another band called Excalibur that was around in the early seventies, This band was from Germany, not to be confused with the 80's metal band by the same name that I posted in the 80's metal thread. these guys were pretty good. Some early Sabbath/Zeppelin and Purple sounding riffs here.
