Some great ones NJF!

That Rough Cutt song is great, but their ballad "Dreamin Again" from the same album is one of my favorite ballads.

Lots of forgotten old school metal bands, but so many awesome ones.  "Icon", "House of Lords", "Obsession", "TT Quick", "Barren Cross", "Badlands", "Riot", "Saint", "Fifth Angel", "Lethal", "Sword", and so many others!

Probably the broadest thread ever, SO many diamonds in the rough LOL could list hundreds ;D

First that came to mind though was this nugget!  After the shelacking they got with their debut (let's not open that can o' worms) Kingdom Come stormed back with the appropriately titled IN YOUR FACE!  This was a fave from that record;

Good one wardy, I don't know if I ever heard that one, loved that dude's vocals. That's what I was goin for here, a wide open thread to post all those odd ball and off the wall groups from them days and stuff some of the people that run through this site may have no idea about or never heard of them, hopefully everybody stumbles upon something they like or forgot about and seek out more from these different bands. Post up as many as ya want wardy.  ;D

How about this one out of the ashes of the Hair Metal period, is early 90's Doug Aldrich and Kal Swan (of 80's and Lion fame).  Personally preferred the darker vibe of Blood (likely brought about by the grunge wave) from which both these tunes are taken ;)

Both of those songs are pretty decent, kinda has a foreigner vibe vocally. Good guitar work from Doug.

Always wondered where the heck he came up with the name Faster Pussycat!? ???

The word classic quite just in this instance, here's an absolute classic from the era;

Badlands should have been more successful.  All the cards were in place.

Another unknown great band is Leatherwolf!

Badlands 1st album was great and the 2nd was good as even though they switched drummers. Blue Murder 1st was awesome...John Sykes guitar sound was great...that should have been the follow up record for Whitesnake if Coverdale didn't fire everybody from the previous record.
