I should dig deeper into this band.

I have a best of and Strangers in the Night.  Awesome stuff and Strangers is a top notch live album.

This band should be more of a household name.

Outstanding band, along with Eddie Trunk, I think I'm the biggest UFO fan on US soil lol. I would recommend Phenomenon, Lights out, Strangers in the night, No place to run, Walk on water, Essential UFO, and Best of the rest. A DVD I highly recommend is Showtime (which features Vinny Moore and Jason Bonham)

Still goin strong and putting out music with Phil Mogg, Paul Raymond, Andy Parker from the old days and Vinny Moore on guitar, who is pretty damn good I must say and does justice to the old material. My favorite release with Vinny is probably his first with the band The Visitor.

VERY solid record, A Conspiracy of Stars (cool album cover too). These guys aren't getting any younger Phil Mogg is 67 and Paul Raymond is 69 but they sound great. These boys will play till they die. Vinny Moore is on his A game on this record, Phil sounds great. Straight up solid hard rock, it's what they do best. Pretty much not a bad track on the record. I like this one better than the previous two. Standout tracks are

The killing kind
Ballad of the left hand gun
Sugar cane
Devil's in the detail
Messiah of love
Rollin rollin

That's 6 outta 10 right there, so IMO this is a pretty good record.
These guys are one of the few bands that have about twelve albums I can just put on and play all the way through and I can't say that about too many bands.

I would also recommend Wild Willing & The Innocent, and Mechanix....two great post-Schenker albums.

I like the Chapman era stuff almost if not as much as the Schenker era. Love Wild, Willing and the Innocent, great record.

Chains chains, long gone, title track, makin moves and profession of violence all great songs.

Mechanix a little mellower but love the ballads Back into my life and Doin it all for you.

The writer and You'll get love pretty good rockers, Neil Carter didn't quite fit in but it's a good record.

Regenerator live in 82 cd from that tour is a really good live record from that tour though. I listen to that a lot more than the Mechanix studio album.

Paul "Tonka" Chapman did a great job replacing Schenker and my favorite of his was Making Contact in 82 which was the last UFO record before they broke up.

There's a good amount of UFO live material out there, I have several but not all, but here's another multi show set being released. This one could be worth it to hear the bonus disc with Larry Wallis (a one time brief guitarist for Motorhead) during his short couple month stint in UFO following original guitarist Mick Bolton's departure before Shenker joined. There's also floatin around out there somewhere I think a live recording with Bernie Marsden ( I might even have that one somewhere) during his brief stay prior to Shenker.

This set otherwise focuses on the Paul Tonka Chapman era which is awesome as well.
