Yeah, I have to pick that book up, I bet that IS a VERY GOOD read. Iommi was the only one there from beginning to end so I'm sure he goes into each chapter of the band in pretty good detail. At least I assume he does. What year was that written?

Time to zone in on some of the Tony Martin era of Sabbath. This era gets buried and forgotten. Time to look back into this era of the band.

Hopefully Iommi gets through this tour ok, so he can go home and rest and work at a more relaxing pace, hopefully making a record with Tony Martin.

The beginning of THE END has begun  8)

Pretty cool set list, some nice rarer additions in there. Awesome seein The Hand Of Doom

Looks like an awesome visual and stage presentation. I may try and catch the summer show in NJ.

Ozzy sounds about as expected, but this is an EVENT not a showcase, So it's all good.

And, One of the GREATEST Black Sabbath albums ever recorded. That whole album is perfection. Considering the two lackluster Sabbath albums that preceded it and the loss of one of the most iconic front men of rock at the time. Heaven and Hell was right on the doorstep of kicking off the 80's metal scene, which took off like crazy.  :)

As "The End" is coming for Sabbath what would you like to see next? For me I'd like to see reissues the same way the Zeppelin catalog was treated with bonus stuff and maybe some live cuts as well.

Apart from the regular "hits" I was never a big Black Sabbath fan, but I recognize their influence on heavy metal. I will say though that songs like Paranoid and War Pigs have been played so much, especially on commercial radio, that I could go without hearing them ever again for the rest of my life.

My Black Sabbath jam is Dehumanizer. The only reason I got into it was because it was the feature of the month in Columbia House one year and I thought it sounded good. Still love it after all these years.
