Hopefully it happens...

Even if it doesn't, I hope Bumblefoot, Soto, and Sheehan at least do a project together.

New Sons Of Apollo single Goodbye Divinity from the upcoming album MMXX out January 17, 2020.

Pretty good song. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing them live on their last tour, Philly area is getting skipped on the upcoming tour dates released, which surprised me, I thought they drew pretty well at the last Philly show.

I was just listening to the new album this morning. It's pretty good, though the singer doesn't really stand out as anything really special. Kinda sounds like a serviceable Jeff Scott Soto. That said, I'd still take an album of him singing over James Labrie. Portnoy and Sheehan are fun to listen to, as usual. My favourite tunes are Desolate July and Fall to Ascend.

EDIT: Hahaha, turns out Jeff Scott Soto actually IS the singer. I usually like him, but he didn't really impress me here. He sure does a mean rendition of Ozzy's "Shot in the Dark" I'll give him that much.

Here they are covering Rainbow's Gates of Babylon. This is pretty good overall. Soto seems to be struggling a little these days, he doesn't sound as clean as he once did, he sounds more rough and nasally now. Those Malmsteen albums were a long time ago though, he's got to be getting up there in age now. I just looked wow, he is only 54. Maybe this was just a bad show or he was sick or something.

I'm liking these two from MMXX. The long fifteen minute album closer New world today is pretty cool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nGPHmXcRGU&list=PLBzBwYhHpqLI4So8YapJ28oc-px2d057D&index=9&t=0s

And Asphyxiation kicks ass https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhS5FBES9iI
kind of reminds me of Corrosion of conformity a bit on this one.
