The Petards
« on: October 05, 2017, 09:35:45 PM »
The Petards were a pretty popular sixties band in Germany. Another band I just kind of stumbled upon on you tube. The band was first active from 1966 through 1972 releasing four albums and fourteen singles before disbanding.
A Deeper Blue (1967)
The Petards (1969)
Hitshock (1969)
Pet Arts (1971)
A compilation album Burning Rainbows was released in 1981. The group apparently reformed in 2002 and I believe have continued to perform from then until the present including one member from the sixties lineup, the drummer.

Another pretty good band worthy of a listen. Some good sixties guitar, They have a little bit of early Pink Floyd and Santana in their sound.
