Whether your for against the hologram shit, I'm not a fan of it. But this is a pretty respectable bunch of Zappa Alum that Ahmet is putting together. Hey, I guess these musicians have to eat too , wtf.  :-\

The Yes ending could be beginning to take shape, with the age factor you have to figure it'd be coming in the next few years. Here is Tony Kaye back in the fold jamming with the band on Wurm from the Cruise To The Edge earlier this month. He would be one former member that I'm sure would be involved.

Not to be outdone, Styx, Joan Jett and Tesla tour date package announced. That's a good lineup package.

Not a bad song though, I liked the ending vocal.

QUEENSRYCHE: / Re: Operation Mindcrime 2017-2018 Tour Dates and Footage

Agreed the rhythm section is nowhere near as tight as Queensryche, that is why a loss of Scott would be a big hit. But the guitar work is an undeniable vast improvement over the Sarzo brother and Gray. He hits the vocals here and there but yes it's an inconsistent improvement at best.

This band has been reduced to the Gary Rossington Band for some years now. It won't happen but would be nice if he brought Ed King and Artimus Pyle back in the fold for the farewell tour, they're basically the only two remaining surviving classic members besides Rossington and both I believe still currently play.

After No More Tears is where I pretty much veered off the rails of the crazy train too. Ozzmosis had a few cool tunes. It's twenty years too late for most of those songs Eye9 mentioned to have any real enjoyment. I wouldn't waste my money to see that tour either. The crowd will sing half the songs and Ozzy will mumble and butcher most of the rest. The only draw is Zakk, and his take on the stuff isn't all that fresh at this point either. It'll be more of a party atmosphere just to say you were there more than anything else.

Sounds like you were dead on with your Priest projection.  :(

Aerosmith is at least the original lineup, all be it a shell of it's former glory.

That is a an unexpected shocker and very well could mean that Priest's days are numbered. May want to catch that tour now  :(

I definitely agree it's not right for the artist or even the venue to ban them  or take them away from people.

Pink Floyd 1988 Momentary Lapse tour. The only time I got to see the band and that show was phenomenal. Van Halen 5150 tour was also a great one and an honorable mention would be the Scorpions Love at first sting tour, and the Page/Plant tour. Hard to pick just one  8)

All the ones you mentioned there I'm fine with. All of those are just the blabbermouth idiot commenters being morons. The whole Bill Ward thing is a joke as he had spent quite a bit of time out of Sabbath anyway.

Skid Rowe, Journey, and Priest still have most of the other members intact.

Iommi, however kept Sabbath going to long after the initial Dio run with a revolving cast of members through the 80's and leading up to the Dio lineup reunion for Dehumanizer, that situation started to become a joke.

Foreigner with only Mick Jones is a stretch.

Queensryche is fine having three originals in the lineup, they deserved the name and should not have changed the name. Singer changes (and for some bands multiple singer changes) have pretty much become the norm. If Geoff would have got the name it would have been him and Kelly gray and a bunch of changing fill ins that probably would have resembled all of Rainbow's lineup changes as Kelly is no longer even involved in his band. He would have made a total joke of the Queensryche name had he won the rights.

Styx come to mind also, I'm ok with DeYoung out as they have held a pretty steady lineup since and are a very good live show. Can't fault death and health ( in the case of the Panozzo brothers).

Kiss, I'm ok with half the band. As looking back multiple guitarists and drummers have been in the band.
